And the question number 1. Who the participant in event there?
BalasHapusBased on the video, I'm know 8 name like
HapusMarlie, Max, clarya, Morgan, dall, Kane, zendara, and Jill. Correction if I'm wroong,
Rosalind Wiseman and 8 High school teenagers from Colorado
HapusI think the show's attendees were NBC's Stephanie Gosk with eight Colorado teens for a raw, unfiltered conversation about their lives. What do you think friends?
Hapusyes, the 8 teenagers from Colorado are the ones mentioned by Dtamara
Hapusyes there are 8 people as Dtamara mentioned
Hapus2.What topic they discuss?
BalasHapusI think the topic they discuss is about the pressures they face and nothing is off limits (for raw, unfiltered conversations about their lives). What are your thoughts friends?
HapusThey discussed about drugs, sexting, sex and hooking up, social media, pressure,
Hapuslying to parents
like the title "Teens tell all, "In candid talks about drugs, sexting, hooking up" they discuss the lives of teenagers who are often associated with drugs, sexting, Hooking up, and other problems with teenagers.
HapusYupp, all answer is right
HapusI think they discuss about the pressures they're facing and nothing was off-limits.
Hapusyes I also agree with the opinion of friends for a more in-depth topic
Hapusya guys your answer is right same of my opinion
Hapus3.Express your opinion about:
BalasHapusa.The participant’s dress code
Talking about the dress, it is surely different of our own culture. Western people are free to wear any dress and styles they want. Their cultures can accept as they are.
HapusI agree with bintang, they wear casual dress, and I think cause the show is informal event.
Hapusa. In my opinion, dress code can be interpreted as instructions on how to dress in a meeting, meeting, party, or other official event. The purpose of making the dress code itself is so that guests who come can adjust the clothes they wear with the theme of the event.
HapusIn my opinion, their dress code looks simple and quite polite. So it looks relaxed.
HapusI agree with you, I think the dress code they use is not too uniform, they wear ordinary clothes, casual clothes or clothes that are not too formal
Hapusya I think the dress code is polite and comfortable looking
Hapus3.Express your opinion about:
BalasHapusb.Their personal relationship,
b. I think their personal relationship is going well, so that they have the purpose of interpersonal communication to study themselves, influence attitudes, and behavior, and provide assistance to others. Another interpersonal communication is a collaboration between one person and another to achieve certain goals or to do something that is beneficial to both parties.
HapusTheir Personal relationship is so closed. They were so opened to talk about the topic they were discussing and just told what they have experienced.
HapusI think their personal relationship is good, both to themselves and to others.
Hapusyes i agree with you guys
Hapus3.Express your opinion about:
BalasHapusc.Level of formality of the event?
c. Level of formality of the event,
HapusThe participants were not formal, I guess. It is just a kind of short dialogue about
the current issues on their place.
c. In my opinion, the level of formality of the event is behavior or behavior that has become a habit and is carried out in moderation, meaning that it does not contain strict norms in an event, and based on the video that I watched, their program was not too formal because they had casual discussions.
HapusIt seems the event is not too formal, like a casual entertainment event.
HapusHuh, we can conclusion this event is informal.
HapusYes I agree with you guys, in my opinion, the event was not too formal, more of a casual conversation.
Hapusd.Level of participant’s involvement or participation in the discussion,
BalasHapusd. Level of participant’s involvement or participation in the discussion,
HapusAll the participant have their own opinion about the topic they were discussing. Each of them gave their own opinion based on their experiences.
I think the participation of the discussion participants is good, they give their own opinions and freely share their experiences and everyone has spoken
HapusI saw that everyone participated well in the discussion
Hapusyes I agree with bintang, each of them can express his opinion.
HapusI agree with you guys
Hapusyes agree with you guys, each of participant speaks with their thoughts and feelings
Hapus3.Express your opinion about:
BalasHapuse.Roles of the moderators,
Moderators here just lead them to opened discussion and direct the discussion and the participants feel free to deliver their own opinion
Hapusthe moderator's role there is as a director or mentor so that the discussion in the event goes well.
Hapusthe moderator in the discussion will determine the success of the discussion, as in this event the role of the moderator is as a guide for the event.
Hapusyes, that's right, the moderator directed the discussion well.
HapusThe moderator in the video is very good at inviting participants to be able to express their opinions and I think she succeeded in leading this conversation.
Hapus3. Express your opinion about:
BalasHapusf. Other aspects that you see important to address.
In my opinion, the things that must be handled and considered in the preparation of the discussion include:
HapusFormulate goals to be achieved, both general goals and specific goals.
Determine the type of discussion that can be carried out in accordance with the objectives to be achieved.
Define the problem to be discussed.
room space for child , my opinion the aspect is very important, sometimes parents are forcing their will without asking or asking the child for an opinion, as a result there will be loss of communication between them, and any example dont much anger to child it will make him sick and don't feel at home
HapusYes I agree with your opinion guys
Hapus4. Are the factors listed in point 3 similar or different from your own academic and cultural context? Elaborate your response and provide examples when necessary.
BalasHapusYes, I think the factors listed in point 3 are the same as the culture in my neighborhood like many old people who force their children to get A grades, enter the high education that their parents want, and take additional classes.
HapusCouldn't agree more
HapusI think, they want to express their thoughts and feelings openly without their parents knowing. In part f in point 3, they can express the feelings they have. The teens were able to tell the story openly supported by mc stephanie who did well in her role as moderator. So that teenagers feel comfortable to tell stories because they feel "heard." Teenagers tell how teenagers' lives are not all fine, by listening to them, it can be concluded that some bad things happen to teenagers, such as drugs, sexting, dating, and even pressure from parents.
HapusIn my opinion there are some factors on point 3 that similar and different to our own academic and cultural context.
Hapus-Point number 1, participant dress code. Dress code is kind of different to our culture. In our culture we dress more polite like, the girl who not using very short skirt and very tight jeans.
-Point number 2, personal relationship. There’s no different to our culture about this point.
-Point number 3, level formality of the event. Based on what I see, the level formality in the video is semi formal. We can say that semi formal is okay to taking place at meeting witnessed by a large audience.
-Point number 4, level of participant’s involvement or participation in the discussion. Based on the video, participants very active to express their opinion the moment moderator done their question and opinion.
-Point number 5, roles of the moderators. Moderators has the same work as in our culture, it’s a common job as moderators to attract attention of the participants.
yes i agree with your opinion guys🙏😇
Hapus5. Look at English language expressions that the participants use;
BalasHapusa. Level of directness of utterances,
The participants spoke frankly according to the circumstances and feelings they experienced they told their circumstances clearly.
HapusI think, they reveal it quite openly, as at minute 1.10 when they said that "we also hear about prescription drug abuse. Sometimes it's like a pill party when they have a bowl in the front door and everyone drops a pill and you can like to pick one up." .." and at 1.40 minutes when they were asked how many had seen a nude photo of someone at school, 7 out of 8 of them raised their hands, and some even said the time when they saw the photo.
Hapusb. Level of politeness of the utterances
BalasHapusthe impression in their speech is quite good they speak with soft and polite speech
HapusI think they are really polite to each other despite talking about their detail secret in school
Hapusyes, fauzan agree with you
HapusI agree with you, Fauzan. Their politeness in speaking is good, they speak frankly, in a calm tone of voice about the things that happen in their school.
Hapusyes i agree with your opinion naswa.
Hapusc. Patterns of Information sequence the participants utter (Because-Therefore or Therefore-Because)…. B-T: karena saya miskin, boleh pinjam uang 5000?; T-B: Bolen pinjam uang 5000 krn saya miskin.
BalasHapusIn my opinion this is some examples of their patterns of information:
Hapus1. (Therefore-because) :
sometimes many children lie and do fun things but are a little free, because they feel their parents just tell them to study, so they don't have time to play according to their age.
2. (Therefore-because) : when they are play together or at a party they drink or use drugs, because they don't know the side effects of what they drinking.
3. (Because-therefore) : Their parents not wanna know all about their children, the childs lie their parents because their parents not monitoring their childs, there are also those who are depressed by their parenting.

Hapusd. Others that you think important to address
BalasHapusI think the important thing that must be discussed is parenting and mental health, because many parents who manage their children at will without knowing what the child hates and what is liked by the child because it is also a lot of children who feel depressed about it so that their mental health is disturbed.
HapusI agree with your opinion, Ferica. If that happens, I think parents should take action by guiding their children, directing them, and giving their children the freedom to choose as long as it is positive. That way, the child will feel free but still and cannot be separated from the supervision and protection of parents. Children can also be more open, they will tell stories and feel "heard" by their parents so that the relationship between children and parents goes well.
Hapus6. Your General Personal Comments. Feel free to express yourself.
BalasHapusI think it is a great idea to talk about the little detail thing happened in school and also to knowing their mental health because who knows they are depressed because of thing happened in school so yeah that's my thought.
HapusI also think the same as you, Fauzan. They need to reveal the little things that are around them, they need to talk at least with people they trust, that way they will feel a little relieved, they will not be too depressed because of the burden of thoughts that are allowed to pile up.
HapusPersonally i agree with you guys, in millenial era as parent must monitoring their childs because this is modern era. In all social media many crime, videos sex, and many others, actually much anything can make mental health depressed, and spoil children mindset. parents must remember to give children space to play and be creative. Do not force children to always be what their parents want them to be. remind, supervise, protect and care for children so that they feel valuable and do not want to ruin their future because they have received love and care from their parents.
